  1. Fill the kettle with water and put it on to boil.
  2. Measure 200ml cold water into the Measuring jug.
  3. When the kettle has boiled top up the jug to 300ml with boiling water.
  4. Mix 500g “00” flour with 7g instant dried yeast and 10g salt in the food mixer’s bowl.
  5. Make a well in the flour by pushing it to the sides of the bowl.
  6. Pour all of the 300ml water from the jug into the well in the flour.
  7. Place the bowl onto the food mixer and turn it on low for 2 minutes.
  8. after 2 minutes turn the speed up to medium for 8 minutes.
  9. Leaving just the dough inside the bowl, remove it from the food mixer, cover it with clingfilm and place it somewhere warm.
  10. Once the dough has doubled in size, which will take around 1 to 2 hours, remove it from the bowl and divide into 5 pieces if making 12" pizza bases.
